A portrait attempted after a very long time, a cliched one at that. The woman, Lachimi was a part of a group that travels from a thandaa near Bhongir to Hyderabad to sell sitaphal(custard apples). They stay for a few weeks and then go back and are spread across various parts of the city. Earlier they would come in bullock carts, but now they are not able to afford even that.

Some ladies in the lambadi tribe are indeed charming. Lachimi had light coloured eyes and radiated so much charm despite her age and hard life.
