The festival of colours!!

While most festivals in India are colourful, none of them drench(literally) you in colour(s) as much as the spring festival of Holi would.

Wishing you a safe and fun holi – try use eco friendly colours and if someone doesn’t like all that colour please respect that! 🙂

While it is common for streets to be decorated with green streamers, and lights on Milad-un-nabi, this particular lane in Laad Bazaar was decorated with colourful cloth – sponsored by some cloth merchant. While many residents on either side were gearing up for festivities, at the end of the lane, food was being prepared in large quantities for distribution among the poor.
