Milad-un-Nabi

Hyderabad was green all over and studded with many moons and stars as the city celebrated the Eid Milad un Nabi with great fervour.

Milad-un-Nabi translated means the birth of the Prophet and commemorates the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet. Muslims gather and recall the teachings of the Holy Prophet through public processions, rallies, public meetings and also feed the poor. The lanes and streets are illuminated and decorated.
