Architecture

A lot of restoration at the Qutb Shahi tombs complex seems to have got rid of a lot of foliage.

Earlier last year I met a couple of activists who were rather concerned about the machines being used to dig out old and lay new stones for the path ways. The vibrations caused by these machinery they said could cause damage these heritage structures which were constructed centuries ago, and need to be preserved. I am not sure what happened to that but there are so many changes and I suppose this will look very impressive once complete.

The setting light on the tomb of Abdullah Qutb Shah, if I am not wrong.

  1. This has been a place which I have visited most often than any place in Hyderabad. To be there at early morning is just a feeling its sad that they don’t allow people in early morning.

I am doing a textured composite series on Qutb Shahi Tombs, hope I will have a good set over the years.
